Unfortunately Michael S.Chongthu s/o J.Chongthu could not be selected for the final selection. After playing and winning several matches for them, the selection commitee on the final selection day said that he is short in height and they want someone who is tall for the STRIKER position and also told him to come and play again for under 16 National Team... Don't loose hope..keeep playing

Michael S. Chongthu s/o J.Chongthu is still there in the
selection camp...there were around 80 students coming from
different states for this trial at Kolkotta...out of dis there are only 30
students left now...only few days are left for the final selection
where again 15 student wil be out and d rest 15 students will be selected
for under-14 camp, India and will be going abroad for Exchange of

I'm not a cricket enthusiast but decided to tag along at the ICL game on Saturday. So, we trudged off bundled in autos (big problem with parking space).
