Cricket Mania
I'm not a cricket enthusiast but decided to tag along at the ICL game on Saturday. So, we trudged off bundled in autos (big problem with parking space). As instructe, we reached an entrance (Gate B, I think), flashed our tickets, got in only to be stopped at the next checkpoint and told that we were at the wrong gate. So, we marched off again looking for our designated gate some 200 metres away. Neatly labeled "General and VIP entry".
It's much better watching it on TV. For one, I couldn't see the ball and then the announcement system was so garbled I could hardly understand a word.
Anyways, we behaved like the perfect tourist, taking pictures 
and video recordings, watching people instead of the game [it's more entertaining 
]. It can be quite boring for someone who doesn't follow the game - like me - but not as boring as this .....
Although we had to leave early ... it was fun while it lasted. I thought I would save the ticket as a souvenir ... but no .. . they had to tear it to bits and pieces. The reason became apparent when a boy asked us for our tickets the moment we walked out the gate!
